About the Conference
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) has teamed up with the Federal Youth Authority and the American University in the Emirates and came up with “Minds of the future” with the goal to provide a platform for experts and youth in many fields to speak about ‘the future of’ their area of expertise in the UAE within the list of topics provided
Minds of the future will be a face-to-face event that will move between three locations of the Federal Youth Authority’s Youth Hubs in several cities across the country; Dubai, Ajman where the speakers will hold their talks, and experts will have paper discussions of the side within the Hubs.
The Message

The United Arab Emirates, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and his brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, companions His Highness the Sheikh, members of the Supreme Council of Rulers of the Emirates, Their Highnesses Sheikhs, Members of the Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates, have succeeded in developing the development of all fields in the country and launching the country on the global map and foreseeing the future of sectors.
The Minds of the Future conference is one of our conferences towards preparing for the fifty, our ambitious vision for the future, and our optimal investment in the human element, as this conference aims to prepare and qualify a generation of experts in many fields that fall within the specializations within the United Arab Emirate., we believe that investment in the human being is the basis for the progress and success of any state or civilization. This conference will bring experts and youth from various fields to exchange their knowledge and experience through creativity as a primary engine for innovation, decision-makers, and hope for the future, and with them we will make achievements that go beyond the borders to reach the UAE to a prominent position on all levels.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai is keen to attract distinguished individuals with advanced and creative skills, to invest and build these capabilities, and to activate the national and societal contribution to achieving sustainable development by strengthening the frameworks of cooperation and partnership with various bodies and institutions in the country. This cooperation between the establishment of Dubai and each of the Federal Youth Foundation and the American University in the Emirates in preparing and implementing this conference comes as a new step in the GDRFA’s march towards investing human capital, especially youth, to support the country’s development process and improve the quality of life.

Keynote Speaker
The speakers will provide a 15-minute informative talk about the selected topic of interest from the given list. The speaker must provide a copy of the talk he/she will be presenting for the selection process, and will be interviewed after being selected. The criteria of the speakers we are looking for are:
- Has knowledge and/or experience in the field chosen
- Motivational
- Charismatic
- Interactive
Author
Paper submission – The papers that will be submitted will have to follow the common structure of cover page, abstract, introduction, body, and conclusion with authentic sources using the MLA citation. The word count should be between 4000-7000 words (excluding the cover page) in Times New Roman fonts in size 12 points with 1.5 spacing. The cover page should include full name, title, and date.
- Improper sourcing will result in paper disqualification
- Plagiarism will result to paper disqualification
- Please ensure the paper submitted to the Minds of the Future has not been and will not be submitted to any other institution (academic and non-academic).
- Papers are only to be presented in the English language.
